WHAT THIS IS
A focused training container, not another drop-in class.
The Compass Core Intensive is built for actors who are already working seriously and want to make their process more reliable. For actors who prefer a fully remote format and sustained weekly repetition, explore the eight-week Compass Online Intensive.
The work centers on truthful human behavior, preparation that can be repeated under pressure and the ability to make specific choices without forcing a performance. You will apply the work directly to on-camera material and learn how to recognize what is helping or weakening the result.
This is a defined four-week program with clear expectations, a deliberately small cohort and work that builds from one session to the next.
WHAT THE WORK DEVELOPS
A process you can return to when the pressure is real.
The goal is not one impressive class scene. It is a clearer way of working that holds up across auditions, adjustments and changing material.

Truthful, specific behavior
Move beyond indicating emotion or presenting an idea of the role. Build behavior that feels grounded, personal and alive.

Repeatable preparation
Develop a practical process for understanding the scene, making choices and preparing work you can actually use on camera.

Useful adjustment under pressure
Learn how to receive direction, change the work and remain connected instead of abandoning everything you prepared.
HOW IT WORKS
Six connected sessions over four weeks.
The online and in-person sessions serve different purposes, but the work is cumulative. Participation in every session is expected.

Live online sessions
Two-hour sessions focused on preparation, analysis, feedback and applying the Core process to the work.

In-person intensives
Three-hour sessions at Compass Actor Services in Atlanta during Weeks 2 and 4, with extended on-camera application.

Connected process
Each session builds on the last. Preparation and outside work are part of the commitment, not optional extras.

The Intensive asks for real participation.

This is not:
A drop-in or standing class
The work has a beginning, an end and a cumulative structure.
An industry showcase
The focus is craft and application, not exposure, networking or access to representation.
A beginner fundamentals course
The Intensive assumes prior training and a working understanding of on-camera performance.
