THE PURPOSE
One repeatable process. Practiced on different material. Ready for your next audition.
This is an eight-week, live online training program that combines clear instruction with coached camera work.
Learn to connect circumstances, relationships, human need, point of view, objectives and tactics to behavior that is specific and playable. Then repeat the full audition process on new material, examine what actually happened, make adjustments and refine the preparation sequence that works for you.
The goal is not to leave with one good scene. It is to leave with a process you have repeated enough to use independently when the next audition arrives.

HOW IT WORKS
Eight connected Saturday sessions.
Each three-hour Zoom class balances explanation, guided exercises and direct coaching. Independent preparation and self-tape assignments between classes make the live work more productive.

Actors maximum
A small cohort allows individual coaching while every actor also learns by observing the work in the room.
THE EIGHT-WEEK PROGRESSION

The sequence moves from understanding the process to applying it independently on unfamiliar material.
WEEKS 1–3
Identify and understand
Review your current preparation and learn how circumstances, relationship, point of view and human need drive behavior.
WEEKS 4–6
Build and apply
Develop playable objectives and tactics, then complete a guided audition cycle from preparation through a redirected take.
WEEKS 7–8
Repeat and adjust
Independently prepare new material, recognize patterns, listen and respond, and practice adjustments under time pressure.
AFTER THE INTENSIVE
The next audition
Stress-test your process with unfamiliar material and finish with a personal preparation playbook and final coached audition.

Join from Atlanta, elsewhere in North America, London or another time zone that fits the live class. The online format removes geography, not the expectation that you arrive prepared and participate fully.
This is distinct from the four-week hybrid Compass Core Intensive, which includes in-person Atlanta studio training. The Online Intensive provides eight weeks to repeatedly apply, refine and independently execute a complete audition process.

Installment enrollment closes December 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern.
Registration terms: Tuition covers all eight sessions; six actors maximum. Registration is nonrefundable from December 24, 2026, or once advance preparation review begins, whichever comes first. Missed sessions are nonrefundable. If fewer than four actors enroll and Compass cancels the cohort, choose a full refund or transfer to a future cohort.
